We value your shared commitment to better treatments and cures for hearing loss and related disorders. As the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic continues, we at Hearing Health Foundation (HHF) hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and safe.
As a scientific organization, we take the threat of COVID-19 very seriously and we are making modifications to maximize wellbeing during this uncertain time.
Rest assured that HHF remains committed to funding innovative science to prevent, treat, and cure hearing and balance disorders. The staff, Board of Directors, advisory bodies, researchers, and volunteers are working tirelessly to ensure operations continue as fully as possible under these unprecedented circumstances.
In accordance with Governor Andrew Cuomo’s New York on Pause executive order, which requires non-essential businesses and organizations to close offices, all HHF staff have transitioned to remote work. We remain available to you by phone at 212-257-6140 or by email at info@hhf.org or development@hhf.org.
Our staff is currently checking in with our scientific grantees who perform research at universities and academic medical centers nationwide and at one institution in both Canada and the UK. COVID-19 related restrictions vary by location, and HHF is working to understand the specific circumstances impacting all of our funded scientists.
HHF’s groundbreaking research dates back to 1958, meaning that we have successfully weathered some of the most significant storms in recent decades. We are a resilient community and are confident that we will recover together.
We will continue to update you on the status of HHF as the situation evolves.
Please be well, exercise caution, and stay connected to those you love. Thank you for your continued support.
