IRA Charitable Rollover/Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
You can give a gift from your individual retirement account (IRA) directly to a qualified charity such as HHF without having to pay income taxes on the money. This gift option is called a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) and is also known as an IRA charitable rollover. Individuals age 70 1/2 and older can give to charities without counting the distribution as income. It is a smart way to make a high-impact gift to HHF while saving on your taxes.
To make a donation from your IRA, contact your IRA administrator to arrange a direct transfer from your account to HHF.
Your IRA administrator can also send the funds by a check made payable to Hearing Health Foundation and mailed to:
Hearing Health Foundation
PO Box 1397
New York, NY 10018
HHF’s Tax ID is 13-1882107.
