In Memory of Jeffrey H. Hagan

My name is Madison, I never thought this day would come, especially this soon.

Our dad, Jeffrey Hagan, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026, at 8:05 p.m. at the age of 74. He fought hard through his heart condition until the very end. Thankfully, Sean and I were able to be by his side during his final moments.

We had a Chaplain come in and performed prayers. Shortly after the Chaplain left the room, Dad passed. It was unexpected and happened sooner than we anticipated, but there was a sense that he knew it was time to go.

We were incredibly lucky to have such a loving father. Dad dedicated every ounce of himself to being the best father he could be to Sean and me. He showed up for every single thing in our lives. He made it a point to call or text us almost every day to tell us he loved us, or simply to make sure we were safe if he heard about an accident near wherever we lived.

That was Dad. He cared deeply, he showed up, and he loved his kids fiercely. He was someone who believed in showing kindness, sharing a little fun, and always passing along some interesting or “cool” piece of knowledge and loved punny jokes.

Rest peacefully, Dad. We love you so much and we think about you all the time. ❤️
