Protect Your Future With National Estate Planning Awareness Week

Chris and Frank De Francesco have generously included HHF’s hearing and balance research in their estate plans.

Hearing Health Foundation is excited to share that the week of October 18–24 is National Estate Planning Awareness Week.

This month marks the start of our fiscal year and the new research cycle for our research programs, Emerging Research Grants and the Hearing Restoration Project. Also this month, HHF is launching a new video series highlighting the importance of protecting your hearing from excess noise. Your continuous engagement with HHF not only enables this critical work, but it also helps us plan for a future that improves the quality of life for the 48 million Americans affected by hearing loss.

Our community has been there for us in planning for a better future, and we want to return the favor. Our partnership with FreeWill enables you to complete an estate plan for your own future easily, quickly, and intuitively. Get started today.

The Benefits

Some of the benefits of estate planning include being able to protect the friends, family, and pets you love. As we emphasize the importance of protection to prevent hearing problems before they occur, we want to also ensure you can protect all that’s also important in your own life.

An estate plan also enables you to practice agency over the health and safety decisions of your future, as an estate plan is an act of purpose and security for the significant choices you must make.

FreeWill also allows you to plan your beneficiaries for assets that may not be included in your will such as a 401(k) or an IRA.

Through an estate plan, you can also create a legacy stimulating groundbreaking research that fosters the development of cochlear implant technology, more effective hearing aids, successful ear surgeries, and ultimately a cure for hearing loss.

We hope you take a moment to safeguard your future, while creating a world where everyone has the opportunity to enjoy life without hearing loss and tinnitus. Start now.

We’re challenging our community to think about their futures during National Estate Planning Awareness Week, and to take control of your health and safety decisions. If you have any questions about this free resource, please contact us at development@hhf.org or 212.257.6140.
