Thank you for your commitment to the health and happiness of millions of people who live with hearing and balance conditions. During this time of uncertainty, I’m especially grateful that Hearing Health Foundation (HHF) has your support.
I’m sure that you, like me, have been looking for the calm in the chaos of COVID-19. In the spirit of finding peace of mind, I’m writing to share a free will-writing resource.
You may not know this, but August is National Make-a-Will Month. Every year thousands of Americans take advantage of the month of August to protect their loved ones and plan for their futures, all through an important task: writing your will. A will is an essential legal document that everyone should have, no matter your age or the size of your estate.
Many people have already chosen to include HHF in their wills to ensure hearing and balance research is part of their legacies, and we created the Collette Ramsey Baker Society to recognize and thank them. Among the members are Frank and Chris De Francesco, parents of a daughter, Karyn, born with a profound hearing loss.
Frank and Chris have proudly supported HHF since Karyn, now in her 40s, was a teenager. Recently, in reflecting on Karyn’s lifelong experiences of feeling left out, Frank and Chris became inspired to make a more lasting difference in others’ health, and updated their will to include HHF.
“We believe that HHF’s researchers are dedicated to finding answers that will change the lives of people like Karyn,” Frank and Chris say.
Including HHF in your will supports groundbreaking work to prevent and cure hearing and balance conditions for generations to come.
Please join Frank and Chris and become a member of the Collette Ramsey Baker Society. You can use this free resource to write your will and create your legacy this August.
If you have already remembered HHF in your estate plan, please notify us at development@hhf.org so that we can properly thank you and welcome you to the Collette Ramsey Baker Society.
