Have you considered planning for your future? October 19th-25th is National Estate Planning Awareness Week, a moment when Americans are encouraged to protect the things they love and plan for their futures by creating an estate plan.

Hearing Health Foundation is dedicated to providing our community with current, useful information about your health and wellness so that you can make the health and safety decisions that best support you and your loved ones. I want to take a moment to talk about estate planning and introduce a free resource to help you complete this important task.

Protect what you love this week by writing your will using this free, online resource — it takes 20 minutes or less!

Estate planning is a concrete step everyone should consider, both to make your wishes known and to protect your assets. It’s a powerful way to protect the people you care about and get peace of mind (which is much needed during this moment).

We’ve partnered with FreeWill to remove the expensive legal fees often associated with this process. Since 2017, FreeWill has helped over 170,000 people write their wills, and has been featured in Forbes, the New York Times, and Oprah’s 31 Best Ways to Make a Difference.

You can also use FreeWill to create other important estate planning documents, like a “living will” (Advance Healthcare Directive). In addition, you can easily create an optional legacy gift to HHF to join a group of loyal donors who have made finding cures to hearing loss, tinnitus, and related disorders a fundamental part of their legacy. Your gift will cost nothing today but will provide support to our research and hearing health programs for generations to come.

Ready to get started on your free estate plan? Click here to write your legal will and create an optional legacy with HHF.

We’re challenging our community to think about their futures during National Estate Planning Awareness Week, and to take control of your health and safety decisions. If you have any questions about this free resource, please contact us at development@hhf.org or 212.257.6140.
