Thank you for supporting Hearing Health Foundation (HHF's) groundbreaking Emerging Research Grants (ERG) program, advancing better treatments and cures for hearing loss, auditory processing disorders, tinnitus, hyperacusis, Ménière's disease, and Usher syndrome.

ERG provides seed money for research that leads to a continuing, independently fundable line of research in various topic areas. On average, every $1 invested in ERG scientists has a later investment of $91 from the NIH.

“HHF plays a seminal role in launching the independent research careers of many research scientists in hearing research. The grants provide the ‘seed’ support that enables a grantee to apply for and get a larger grant award to expand their research resources and efforts.” — James F. Battey, Jr., M.D., Ph.D., Former Director, NIDCD
