faux caption.jpg

Captions and subtitles are a critical tool that make information more accessible to those with hearing loss. The technology is constantly evolving, but sometimes the captions fall short of the mark.

We invite you to share one unintentionally hilarious—and frustrating—captioning gaffe with HHF for a chance to be featured in an upcoming issue of Hearing Health magazine and on our website.

We also encourage you to submit the image in formal complaint to the FCC to advocate for more accurate captioning.

Note: The contest is open to all individuals 18 years and older who subscribe to Hearing Health magazine via print (in the U.S.) or online (outside of the U.S.). Non-subscribers are not eligible. Subscribe here. See terms and conditions here.
