I am bilingual (ASL and English) and am deaf since birth. I wear a hearing aid (that is probably 20 years old). I also lead a school of 500 deaf and hard of hearing students, and I am always interested in hearing health. Keep up with your hard work and be careful about explaining the "deficit" model.
