Pledge Music to Cure Hearing Loss and Tinnitus

Kori Linae Carothers, an adult contemporary instrumental musician who also has 100% hearing loss in one ear, has launched her fourth album "Fire in the Rainstorm" on Pledge Music. Pledge Music works where artists create new music projects, and when you Pledge on a campaign, you gain access to new music as well as exclusive content, all before the album officially hits the masses. Kori chose Pledge Music as they partner with charities and she wanted to have HHF as part of her campaign. Kori has reached her goal which means a portion of any further pledges are donated to HHF! Help Kori double her goal and support HHF too!

Run for the BUZZ! Running to Cure Hearing Loss and Tinnitus
Sixteen years ago, Julie Davis joined a group of 50 million people in this country, and it wasn't by choice. In June of 1997, her left ear stopped working and the buzzing and ringing started. Not only had she gone 50% deaf, but she also acquired vertigo, balance issues and other negative consequences associated with hearing loss that many people rarely discuss.

On October 27, 2013, Julie “RAN for the BUZZ,” in the Marine Corp Marathon and this time, Hearing Health Foundation is supporting her in this effort. The Hearing Restoration Project (HRP) is close to finding a biological cure for hearing loss but funding for research is needed.

Julie raised $2,000 for a cure!
Racing to Cure Hearing Loss

On July 14, Ben, Chris, and Kristie teamed up for the Aquaphor New York City Triathlon and raised over $4,000 for Hearing Health Foundation! Each team member tackled a different part of the race; swimming, biking, and running. The team decided to bring attention to the 1 in 5 Americans affected with hearing loss.  Kristie is one of them as she was diagnosed with a rare degenerative hearing loss six years ago. She is now an activist and member of HHF's National Junior Board.

Mike, and several of his family and friends, completed a ride of 107 miles through the parks and countryside of Morris County and Western NJ.
Mike raised over $7,000 to support a cure for hearing loss and HHF's programs like the Hearing Restoration Project.  The goal of the Hearing Restoration Project is to cure hearing loss within 10 years through inner ear hair cell regeneration.
